The Eau Claire Express beat the Battle Creek Bombers last night, seven to four. The Express started off with a three run lead in the first inning and they did not stop there.

In the first inning, Bombers pitcher, Chad Jasman, loaded the bases with a walk. Then Josh Scheffert hit a 2 RBI single with two outs. Andy Leonard was walked and recored a single on that walk.

In the fourth inning there was a double play to end the Express’ batting. Josh Lyon hit a sacrifice fly to score a run and make it four to two in favor of the Express.

Josh Rosecrans, Noble Enriquez and Beau Didier were put into a pickle situation. It looked like they were juggling out there and Enriquez hung onto the ball for the put out on Morris. Josh Lyon picked up the first home run this season at C.O. Brown Stadium. For every home run hit by the Bombers at C.O. HBC will donate $200 for Clear the Fence for Cancer.
