The Bombers took game two of the Saturday double header at C.O. Brown. They won all three of their games against the Woodchucks.

In the second inning Sharif Othman hit a stand-up double, that scored two runs with two outs.

Parker Berberet hit a ball deep to the 402 in center field and went for the double. He was awarded a base on an error from the shortstop because he overthrew third base and that put Berberet across home plate, that made the score 2-1, in favor of the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

Newcomer, Gregg Garcia, comes out swinging and starts the third inning off with a single. He advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Navarro Hall. Eric Schultz hit a ground ball to right field and was able to make it to first base and had an RBI, to tie the game at two.

Grant Dozar hit a deep ball off the right field wall and got to first safely but tried to turn it into a double an Dan Dispensa was too fast for him and was able to throw to Brett Kauten who tagged him out.

Sean Deegan gets on with a base hit. Josh lyon stepped up to the plate and hit it deep over the right field fence for a home run with a runner ahead of him. That put the Bombers up 4-2 in the sixth inning. Every time a Bomber hits a home run at C.O. Brown Stadium, HBC will donate $200 for the Clear the Fence for Cancer promotion.

In the bottom of the eighth Deegan hit to the Woodchucks shortstop and he threw the ball to low and Deegan was able to get to second base on the past ball.

The Woodchucks were able to pick up a run in the top of the ninth, but were not able to get any more runs and ended the inning with a strike out. The Bombers sweep the Woodchucks, with a score of 4-3 in the Saturday night game.

The Bombers will head to Waterloo for two games on Monday and Tuesday. They will be back here Wednesday, and it is Weiner Fest where we will have a hot dog eating contest. Thursday will be our first Thirsty Thursday of the Night, where we have $1 beer and soda. Friday night is Back to the Battle Cats Night. The Bombers will wear Battle Cat jersey which will be auctioned off and also the first 500 fans will recieve Battle Cats rally towels. Saturday July 10 is our make-up day for fireworks. We will have the State Farm Fireworks after the game.
