Tonight marked the official start of the second half. The Bombers dropped the first game by a score of 8-3.

Adrian Garza got the start on the mound for the Bombers. In the sixth inning he threw back-to-back walks. Mike Marjama got the first hit for the Loggers, which loaded the bases. Then, Chris O’Dowd was able to hit a Logger across to put them up by one.

In next inning the Loggers loaded the bases up. There was a grounder hit to first, but Josh Lyon missed it and that put a run across the plate to put them up 2-0. Dan Holcomb came in to pitch for the Bombers after that. Tony Mueller hit a 2 RBI single. Then O’Dowd came back to the plate and hit a single that scored a run. Cole Frenzel hit a 2 RBI to put the Loggers up 7-0.

To start the bottom of the seventh Lyon hit a stand up triple. Berberet singled to put Lyon across the plate. Dan Dispensa hit a double that moved the runner up. Brett Kauten hit a sacrafice fly to score Berberet.

In the eighth inning Deegan was able to score on an error. The Loggers got another run in the ninth inning, to end the game 8-3.

The Bombers got three runs on five hits and the Loggers got eight runs on seven hits.
