After three scoreless innings on Saturday night the game between the Battle Creek Bombers and the Rockford Rivets has been postponed due to weather.

The rain held out for most of the day but just before first pitch the showers came and would not stop. Wet conditions and standing water all along the track coupled with a muddy mound led to the final decision.

The game was suspended right before the beginning of the 4th inning with the score 0-0. The game will resume as part of a double header on June 25th at 4:05 p.m. at C.O. Brown Stadium. The second of those two games will be 7 innings.
