The Battle Creek Bombers offer two excellent school programs: one is Reading Program, which provides students with incentives and prizes for achieving their reading goals. There are four levels of bases (first base, second base, third base, and home plate) with a prize for the students at each goal. Teachers will be able to set their own goals for their classroom. These goals can be based on pages read, books read, time spent reading, etc. When a student reaches a new goal, he or she will get a prize provided by the Bombers. Students will each be given a bookmark to record his or her progress, to be signed by the teacher upon completing each goal.

Reading Day Game: Each participating school receives a special ticket offer available to every student and their family members. This special offer includes a ticket to our Reading Day Game and a hat all for just $8 per seat.

Our second school program is Education Day at the ballpark. Experience a day filled of S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities pregame. What can you expect? Well, that’s a great question. This special program allows us to set up the ballpark with educational booths for your students to learn about what in particular a company/business does and how it involves S.T.E.M in any particular way. Not only is this a great engaging and educational experience outside the classroom, but students will get to catch a Bombers game and make it back to school before the bell rings!
