In the top of the 4th inning, the Border Cats pushed across three runs aided by four hits and one walk. Daddario settled in after that inning, not allowing another run to score.

The Larks weren’t completely out of it as they were able to scratch one across in the bottom half when Wyatt Ulrich hit a blooper into the outfield that scored Carson Bartels.

The Border Cats scored two more insurance runs in the top of the 9th inning that put the game out of reach. With Warkentin’s solo home run, the lead was cut to 7-3, but the scoring was done there.

The Larks lost 7-3 and are now 25-14 on the season and 0-3 in the second half. The Larks will be back in action tomorrow night when they will take on the Thunder Bay Border Cats. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. Catch all the action on http://mixlr.com/larksbaseball/.
