Could you be helping the Bismarck-Mandan community and local non-profits by simply throwing a propane tank? The answer is YES! The Larks have teamed up with the local Tri-Energy Cenex stores to Chuck It for Charity this season. Similar to Chuck a Puck in hockey, fans can purchase propane tank stress balls all season. Propane tanks will cost $2 for 3, $3 for 5, and $5 for 10.
After the game, fans will chuck the propane tanks onto the field at different targets and whoever gets closest to the center wins a prize!
And the best part is, ALL THE MONEY RAISED GOES BACK TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS.
That’s right. Over the 2017 season, the Larks and Tri-Energy Cenex chose non-profits to different games over the course of the season. There is no charge for the non-profit and they receive numerous promotional elements and recognition. Their volunteers will scour the ballpark in hopes to raise the most money possible and make sure there is a shower of propane tanks at the end of the game.
Our non-profit partners in 2017 included:
- Gateway to Science
- Abused Adult Resource Center
- Syncronized Figuring Club
- Kitty City
- Sleepy Hallow Theatre
- Tracy’s Sanctuary House
