Engineering a Difference

Help us Engineer a Difference in our community.

The Larks and 701 Cycle and Sport understand the importance of working together to giveback to our community, which is why we have teamed up to create the Engineering a Difference program.

This summer, with your help, we volunteered our time in three unique ways:

Keep Bismarck Beautiful Clean-Up Day

We kicked off our first 701 Cycle and Sport Engineering a Difference project in late April. We joined forces with Keep Bismarck Beautiful and Bismarck Parks and Recreation to beautify two of our local parks.

More than 50 volunteers attended the park clean-up day, collecting trash and debris from Zonta and Sertoma parks.

As a small thank you for their hard work, volunteers received a custom Larks baseball bat.

Edgewood Summer Fun Day

The summer heat didn’t stop us from visiting the residents at Edgewood Dominion, Edgewood Village and Edgewood Mandan for an afternoon packed with yard games, root beer floats and of course…great company!

Check out these photos from the day. Clark the Lark flew by to say hello, while our Larks players scooped and served ice cream. That’s what we call SUMMER FUN!

United Way Day of Caring

Even though the season had ended, it didn’t stop our team from hitting the streets. We volunteered our time AND our hands for the United Way Day of Caring. With the help of our fans, front office staff and North Dakota Teen and Adult Challenge we removed trash and debris from some of Bismarck’s busiest roadways. We made it our priority to help beautify Bismarck!
