POSITION:<\/strong> CATCHER | COLLEGE:<\/strong> CAL ST. SAN BERNARDINO<\/p>\n

HOMETOWN:<\/strong> IWAKUNI, JAPAN | WALK-UP SONG:<\/strong> SOUL SURVIVOR BY JEEZY FT. AKON<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> Garrett Macias<\/strong> had a unique childhood experience. He grew up in Iwakuni, Japan on a U.S. Marine Corps base, spending a lot of his time overseas. Garrett is glad to be back in the United States and is excited for a great summer in Bismarck. As of April 6, Macias is hitting .310 with 18 RBI.<\/p>\n

HOMETOWN:<\/strong> GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA | WALK-UP SONG:<\/strong> WOAH BY LIL’ BABY<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> A walking monument, Luke Hempel<\/strong> towers over his opponents at 6\u20194″ which contributes to his great control on the mound. Luke has collected 5.2 IP for the CSUB Coyotes as of April 6. Off the field, Luke surfs in the California sun and considers himself \u201ca pretty good surfer.\u201d<\/p>\n

POSITION:<\/strong> PITCHER |\u00a0 COLLEGE:<\/strong> MURRAY STATE UNIVERSITY<\/p>\n

HOMETOWN:<\/strong> WHEATON, ILLINOIS | WALK-UP SONG:<\/strong> INTERLUDE BY JAY-Z<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> A young redshirt freshman, Jake Lynch<\/strong> has impressive raw talent on the field. In his first collegiate start, he pitched in relief and struck out three of the four batters he faced. Other than baseball, Jake has a soft spot for tortoises. When he was younger, he had a pet tortoise named Steve. As of April 6, Jake has 7 strikeouts in just 3.2 innings on the mound.<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> A southpaw on the mound but a righty with everything else in life, Luke Vongoedert<\/strong> transferred from Everett Community College to Radford University to finish out his collegiate career. Luke is 2-2 so far in 2022, and as of April 6, he has 21 strikeouts in 17 innings pitched.<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> A young kid from Maryland, Austin Luther<\/strong> chose Wittenberg because it reminded him of being in his hometown. He was all-conference and team MVP in high school. As of April 6, Austin is 2-1 with 1 save and has 35 strikeouts in 30.2 innings. Off the field, Austin says he will partake in any card game at any time, it\u2019s one of his favorite things to do.<\/p>\n

HOMETOWN:<\/strong> LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA | WALK-UP SONG:<\/strong> I’LL BE THERE FOR YOU BY THE REMBRANDTS<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> A small guy with some big power, Kai Hori<\/strong> is a freshman at the College of San Mateo but is making his impact felt this season. Kai stands only 5\u20199″, 160 pounds but has lots of pop in his bat with 2 HRs in 21 games. A fun fact for Kai is that he became an uncle at the young age of just 10 years old.<\/p>\n

HOMETOWN:<\/strong> LOS LUNAS, NEW MEXICO | WALK-UP SONG:<\/strong> WOLVES BY POST MALONE<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> A top 5 pitching prospect out of high school in New Mexico, Julio Romero<\/strong>‘s accuracy and control set him apart from other pitchers. On the mound, Julio is currently 1-0 and has 12 strikeouts in 10.2 innings pitched. Off the field, Julio loves to be outside enjoying nature, especially on a boat casting a line trying to catch some fish.<\/p>\n

BIO:<\/strong> Known as the greatest mascot to ever walk the great plains,\u00a0Clark the Lark<\/strong> brings his Harvard knowledge,\u00a0Dancing with the Stars<\/em> dancing skills, Nashville vocal harmonics, Broadway acting ability, and Cooperstown baseball talent to the Larks this season. His do-it-all skill set is certain to land him in the Larks Hall of Fame before you know it. In high school, he was named the prom king five years in a row, including when he was still in eighth grade. Clark the Lark shares a birthday with Pee Wee Reese and Nomar Garciaparra and celebrates every year by leading a mind-boggling rodeo performance in honor of National Day of the Cowboy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
