\n\tThe votes are cast, the polls are closed, and it will soon be time to unveil the name of Bismarck’s new baseball team.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter over 1,200 votes, the team’s front office will now weigh the results, choose the final name, and begin developing the team’s logo, colors, and overall brand.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“We can’t thank the community enough for their participation,” said John Bollinger, team General Manager. “The input helped us narrow down the vote to three great names to and we are excited to unveil our team’s identity in October.”\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe team will unveil the new name, logo, and a few other exciting announcements at their first community event in Bismarck Municipal Ballpark on Thursday, October 13. More details and specifics will be announced later this month.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe event is open to the public and will also be a time for any fans putting a deposit down on season tickets or a 7-game package to pick their seats. Fans can reserve their ticket package online now and secure their place in the seat selection order at www.bismarckbaseballisback.com<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe team also plans to announce the winners of the Team Name contest later this month along with inviting out the fan’s that chose the Final Five finalists to the event to determine who will win season tickets for life.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFans can also guarantee tickets to the team’s Opening Weekend dates and other top weekend dates of the season by locking in Bismarck Baseball’s new 7-game pack or season tickets today!  7-game packs include the best seats at seven of the team’s top games with all-you-can-eat food and beverages and guaranteed inaugural season giveaways. Packages start at $122.50 per package.  Fans can enter the team’s wait list by submitting their information at <\/em>http:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/bismarckbaseballisback\/tickets\/7-game-ticket-packs\/<\/em><\/a>. Seat location and package preference priority will be given to fans in order of their name on the wait list.<\/strong><\/em>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. The 22-year old summer collegiate league is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 140 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (CHC).
