BISMARCK, ND<\/b> \u2013 It wasn\u2019t a dream, fans. The Bismarck Larks are headed to the postseason for the first time in franchise history! <\/span><\/p>\n

The Larks (25-11) claimed the Northwoods League North Division First Half Championship with a 3-1 victory over the St. Cloud Rox on Tuesday night. Bismarck edged out the Duluth Huskies by one game to secure a guaranteed playoff spot. <\/span><\/p>\n

A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 190 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist (CHC) and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (BOS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET) and Curtis Granderson (TOR).
