DULUTH, MN\u2013<\/strong> The Bismarck Larks lost by a score of 8-7 after a bases loaded walk off hit by pitch gave the Huskies the victory in the bottom of the 9th<\/sup> inning. The Larks are now 28-19 on the season and 3-8 in the second half.<\/p>\n

In the bottom of the 2nd<\/sup> inning, the Duluth Huskies got on the board first scoring two runs off of starting Larks pitcher, Danny Kuhn. It was a double in the right center field gap by the nine hole hitter that scored the two runs.<\/p>\n

The Larks battled back immediately in the top of the 3rd<\/sup> inning scoring two runs to tie it up. Jacob Nesbit drove in Cj Ballard on a single to right field and then Carson Bartels came around to score later in the inning on a wild pitch.<\/p>\n

Kuhn gave up one run in the bottom of the 4th<\/sup> inning and the Larks were able to bounce back again coming up big in the top of the 5th<\/sup> inning. Ripken Reyes hit a double into the left center field gap scoring Bartels. Tristen Carranza would then join the action hitting a double of his own which scored Reyes from second. Two batters later Matt Warkentin hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Carranza and give the Larks a 5-3 lead.<\/p>\n

The big inning for the Duluth came in in the bottom of the 5th<\/sup> inning when they were able to scratch across four runs and take a 7-5 lead.<\/p>\n

Bismarck tied it up in the top of the 7th<\/sup> inning, when Connor Bock hit a single into right field that scored two runs and made it a 7-7 game.<\/p>\n

The scoring would stop there for the time being for the Huskies as Corey Treyes came on in relief for the Larks and was dominate in the 6th<\/sup>, 7th<\/sup>, and 8th<\/sup> innings.<\/p>\n

In the bottom of the 9th<\/sup> inning, the Huskies loaded the bases and on a 0-2 count, Clayton Hill hit Michael McCann which allowed the game winning run to cross home plate.<\/p>\n

The Larks had double digit hits again this season but this time they weren\u2019t able to come away with the victory.<\/p>\n

The Larks lost 8-7 and are now 28-19 on the season and 3-8 in the second half. The Larks will be back in action tomorrow night when they take on the Duluth Huskies in the series finale. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. Catch all the action on http:\/\/mixlr.com\/larksbaseball\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n
