ROCHESTER, MN\u2013<\/strong> The Bismarck Larks fell 6-3 to the Rochester Honkers and are now 30-24 on the season and 5-13 in the second half.<\/p>\n

The Bismarck Larks got on the board early with a two run home run off the bat of Mike Farnell which scored Conner Bock and gave the Larks a 2-0 lead.<\/p>\n

Matt Butler started on the mound for Bismarck and gave up five runs over the course of six innings while striking out five batters. He gave up two in the third inning and three in the fourth inning. The Larks were never able to recover after that.<\/p>\n

Matt Warkentin hit a solo home run in the top of the 7th<\/sup> inning to make it a two run game but that is where the scoring stopped for the Larks.<\/p>\n

The Honkers scored one insurance run in the bottom of the 8th<\/sup> inning to take a 6-3 lead.<\/p>\n

The Larks lost 6-3 and are now 30-24 on the season and 5-13 in the second half. The Larks will now have three off days during the All-Star break before getting back in action when they travel to take on Willmar. Catch all the action on http:\/\/mixlr.com\/larksbaseball\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n
