(Green Bay, WI) The Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club have signed two pitchers and an outfielder for the 2010 season. Right-handed pitchers Mark Anderson (St. Mary’s) and Peter Graffeo (Palm Beach Atlantic) will join the team along with outfielder Tom Barry (University of San Francisco). Each being in their first year with the Bullfrogs.

As a sophomore, Anderson leads the Gaels of St. Mary’s in innings pitched with 80 and a third. He has posted a 4-4 record in 11 starts on the year. In Andersons 11 starts he has pitched two complete games. He has posted an earned run average of 3.81 and has recorded 43 strike outs to 16 walks.

Last season for St. Mary’s College, Anderson appeared in 15 contests and pitched 37 and a third innings. He went 1-0 and recorded a 3.38 ERA. He struck out 23 and walked 7. Anderson held opponents to hit .267 off him.

Prior to his time with the Gaels, Anderson attended McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona. In 2008 he received first team All-Region and All-State Honorable Mention. In 2006, Anderson helped his club team win the Super Series National Championship and was selected to the All-Tournament team.

Graffeo is in his freshman year at Division II Palm Beach Atlantic, where he is 3-2 on the season. He has appeared in 12 games, making seven starts and compiling 57 innings on the season for Sailfish. In the 57 innings pitched Graffeo has an earned run average of 4.26. He has 54 strikeouts to 26 walks on the season, while holding opponents to hit .257.

Barry, a junior at the University of San Francisco has not appeared in a game this season for San Francisco due to a medical redshirt. But, he is healthy now and ready for the summer. Prior to joining the Dons, Barry played at Phoenix College. As a freshman at Phoenix College, he hit .313 while collecting 62 hits, 11 doubles and 13 triples. He drove in 28 runs. As a sophomore he increased his batting average to .318 and drove in 33 runs.

Barry, a native of Tinley Park, Illinois attended Mount Carmel High School. As a senior at Mount Carmel, Barry earned Chicago Catholic Player of the year and First-Team All-State.

The Bullfrogs are scheduled to open their season on June 2 against the Battle Creek Bombers at 6:35 P.M. at Joannes Baseball Stadium in Green Bay.
