Brett Jackson (La Crosse 2007) hit for the cycle Monday night for the Daytona Cubs. Jackson, a 1st round pick in 2009, ended the game with a two-run walk-off homer in the 11th inning to beat the Lakeland Flying Tigers 6-4.

Jackson led off the game with a triple down the right field line. He singled in the fourth, doubled in the seventh and blasted a homerun to right in the 11th to win the game. Felix Pie was the last Daytona Cub to hit for the cycle when he did it in 2004.

Jackson is currently hitting .291 in 56 games with 64 hits and 29 RBI. Jackson has the highest on-base percentage on the Daytona Cubs in 2010 and is leading the team in stolen bases (10). Jackson played in the Florida State League All-Star game this past weekend at Space Coast Stadium, the home of the Brevard County Manatees.
