The La Crosse Loggers Baseball Club announced today that a limited number (80) individual reserved seats are now available for the Loggers 9th Annual Winter Baseball BBQ set for January 27 at the La Crosse Center South Hall. The price for these tickets is $150 and it does include admission into the V.I.P. Party (5:30-6:30) with featured guests Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, Jim Gantner and Jerry Augustine as well as a reserved seat near the stage. Purchasers of these tickets will also receive a collector’s edition ticket and a bottle of Robinade.

The program will commence at 7:05 p.m and all fans are encouraged to wear their favorite baseball jersey.

All of the proceeds from the event, which will be presented in part by Kwik Trip, will go to help the UW-L baseball program. Massive state budget cuts had forced the University to call for the ending of the baseball program at the completion of the 2008-09 school year before anonymous donors and fundraising efforts garnered enough support to keep the sport alive for five years. The goal of the Loggers 9th Annual Winter Baseball BBQ is to help raise enough funds to keep the UW-L baseball program financially sustainable for the future.
