Kleinhans-Schulz will open his second season as the Bucks’ play-by-play announcer on May 30, as Waterloo hosts the Rochester Honkers on 1650 The Fan.

“I really enjoyed being in Waterloo last summer and I am excited to return to the Cedar Valley for the 2012 Northwoods League season,” said Kleinhans-Schulz. “It is a pleasure to be welcomed back to the club by General Manager Dan Corbin and the rest of the Bucks family. With this year’s talented crop of incoming players and the return of the team’s rivalry with the Rochester Honkers, I believe this will be another fun and memorable season of Waterloo Bucks baseball.”

The Waverly, Iowa native graduated this past May with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Kleinhans-Schulz spent four years at campus radio station WVUR-FM serving as a sports broadcaster, sports director, on-air personality, station webmaster, and assistant sports director. In 2012, he was named the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters (IASB) Sportscaster and News Reporter of the Year.
