The Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night, Matt Snyder, made his very first start for the Willmar Stingers and was dominant. The Stingers routed Thunder Bay, 11-0 behind Snyder's strong start.
A sophomore left-hander from Kentucky, Snyder went six shuout innings and faced just three hitters over the minimum. He picked up the win while striking out eight and giving up just two hits in his first Northwoods League appearance.
