Ohio State junior and Kenosha left fielder Pat Porter teed off in the second game of the Rox/Kingfish double-header to be named the Northwoods League Player of the Night. In just seven innings, Porter drove in as many runs as the Rox scored- seven- in a 10-7 Kingfish win.

Porter went 4-4 with a pair of home runs, a double, two runs and seven RBIs. He had a RBI double in the third, a three-run home run in the fourth and another in the sixth.

He also went 2-4 with a double and a run in the first game of the double-header. He's now hitting .329 on the season with a league-leading 24 RBIs, four ahead of Paul DeJong (Wisconsin) and Shane O'Neil (Mankato)
