For the second straight night, a Mankato MoonDog player picked up player of the night honors- tonight it was Evansville's Brett Synek. The MoonDogs took the loss, 7-6 as Thunder Bay rallied late but Synek kept Mankato ahead for most of the game.
Synek went 3-3 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs along with a walk. He's now hitting .200/.412/.340 on the year with 15 walks and 13 runs over 20 games.
