In just his third start as a member of the Lakeshore Chinooks, James Teague, a freshman from Arkansas, picked up Pitcher of the Night honors on Wednesday. Teague picked up the award after throwing six innings of shutout ball in a no-decision against Battle Creek. The Chinooks ultimately lost in the 11th to the Bombers in a game that cruised by and took a little under three hours.

Teague, a 19-year old rising sophomore, needed just 77 pitches- 49 of which were strikes. He struck out eight and allowed just one hit and walked a lone batter. Through four appearances this summer, Teague has a 2.37 ERA with 17 strikeouts in 19 innings. He's also given up just nine hits and walked only four.
