Thursday's player of the night is Eau Claire center fielder Jeff Hendrix, a sophomore from Oregon State. Hendrix carried the Express to their sixth straight win, an 8-5 victory over Thunder Bay in 11 innings.
Hendrix hit a two-run double as a part of a three-run Express third, and then hit the eventual game-winning home run,a three-run blast in the top of the 11th. It was a three-hi, five-RBI day for the outfielder, who is now hitting .238 on the season with nine RBIs and 11 runs.
