Monday's Player of the Night is Lakeshore catcher Zack Bowers, a sophomore from Georgia. Bowers and the Chinooks used a five-run ninth to break open a tie game and down Wisconsin in Game 1 of the Southern Division playoffs.

Bowers accounted for four of those runs with a grand slam off of Woodchucks reliever John Roberts, tacking on more then enough insurance. It was his only hit of the night, as he finished 1-4 but did score twice. He hit .265 in the regular season for the No. 1 seeded Chinooks, hitting five home runs in 45 games with 26 RBIs.
