Friday's Player of the Night is once again Lakeshore catcher Zack Bowers, a sophomore form Georgia. Bowers has been pivotal for the Chinooks, carrying them to a 5-4 win in 13 innings last night in Game 1 of the Summer Collegiate World Series.

Bowers drove in two runs on a 2-6 night while also scoring a run. He drove in both runs on a bases loaded single in the sixth, erasing an early Mankato lead. He now has seven RBIs through just three playoff games and is hitting at a .308 clip after hitting .265 in the regular season.

It was his third player of the night in the postseason after not picking up one up the entire regular season.
