Dalton Roach pitched one of the best games we will see all season at any level on opening night in the Eau Claire Express' 4-0 victory over the Rochester Honkers on Tuesday. The first Pitcher of the Night of 2016 struck out the first 12 batters he faced and finished with 18 strikeouts to set a new Express record, which was previously set at 14. Roach, an Eau Claire native is in his third season with the Express, threw eight shutout innings and allowed just two hits and no walks for the win.

Eau Claire and Rochester will finish out their series tomorrow night at 7:05 at Mayo Field.
