The St. Cloud Rox scored nine runs in the top of the ninth inning to defeat the Thunder Bay Border Cats 11-5 on the road. In the middle of the nine-run rally, Luke Ringhofer (South Dakota State) crushed a grand-slam home run to give the Rox the lead. Ringhofer, a sophomore from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, finished 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored and four runs batted in for the Rox.
St. Cloud will go for the sweep of the Border Cats tomorrow night at 7:05.
