The Battle Creek Bombers shut out the Rockford Rivets 7-0 on Saturday night, and the Bombers received a big game from their starter Jordan Horak (Portland). The sophomore from Lake Oswego, Oregon threw seven scoreless innings on four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. Horak has gotten better in each of his four starts and has not allowed a run in his last two outings. He improved to 3-1 in the victory.

Battle Creek will host Rockford again on Sunday afternoon at 3:05 p.m.
