The Rockford Rivets defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers 8-7 on Thursday night at home. Rockford recorded three home runs in the game, including two from Hunter Hargrove (Texas Tech). Hargrove hit a pair of three-run homers and finished the game 2-for-3 with two walks, six RBI and two runs scored to earn the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night.
Rockford will host Kalamazoo on Friday night at 6:35.
