After Sunday's busy day of Northwoods League action with 13 total games, including four doubleheaders, just one game was played on Monday between the Rochester Honkers and Waterloo Bucks.

Rochester 2, Waterloo 0

The Rochester Honkers shut out the Waterloo Bucks by a score of 2-0 on Monday night, as Rochester received an incredible performance from its starting pitcher. Righthander Alex Fagalde (UC Riverside) threw a complete-game shutout and allowed four hits and two walks with six strikeouts in the win. The Honkers' centerfielder Turner Buis (Cal State Fullerton) singled in the top of the third inning to score the first run of the game. He finished 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI. Rochester added an insurance run in the ninth with a run-scoring single from Jackson Thoreson (St. Marys) to make it a two-run advantage.
