The Lakeshore Chinooks lost to the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 1-0 on the road Thursday night, but they received a big game from their starting pitcher. Righthander Marshall Kasowski (Houston) threw seven scoreless innings for the Chinooks and gave up three hits and zero walks with 12 strikeouts to be named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night.
Lakeshore will play Wisconsin Rapids on the road again on Friday night at 7:05.
