Nick Gatewood (Georgia State) earned tonight's player of the night after going 3-5 for the Chinooks in their win over Rockford. Gatewood reached base in his first at bat from an RBI single in the opening inning to put Lakeshore on the board. Gatewood reached in his second at bat from an error by the second basemen which sent two runs in. Gatewood then doubled in a run in the fourth and hit a solo shot in the fifth. He ended the night with a home run, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored, bringing him a triple shy of the cycle.
