Robbie Palkert (Nebraska) earned pitcher of the night as he threw five scoreless for the Rox in their win over Willmar. He retired the first five battters until a single in the second, but got the next guy to ground out to end the inning. Palkert put two on in the third but got a strike out and ground out to get out of the jam. He then retired the last six in order as he ended his outing and improved his record to 3-0. He finished the night only allowing two hits while striking out eight.
