Drew Gillespie (New Mexico) earned tonight's pitcher of the night after guiding the Express to a 4-1 victory over La Crosse. After retiring the first 5 batters, he put a runner on from an error, but got the next guy to fly out. Gillespie got into some trouble form two walks in the third, but got two out of the three to strike out to end the inning. He went on to get the final nine guys out to end his outing without allowing a run on one hit and four walks while striking out six.
