Dakota Edwards (Cal State Stanislaus) threw a complete game shutout against Rockford in the South Divisional Playoff game and earned pitcher of the night. He gave up his first hit and issued a walk in the second with one out, but got a double play in the next bat. Edwards retired the next nine, but got the final guys to fly out to end the fifth. He went on to retire the side in-order in the top oft he ninth to get the win and help the Bombers advance. He ended the night with only three hits, one walk and struck out seven.
