Jordan Holladay (South Carolina) earned himself player of the night after helping La Crosse defeat Waterloo in extra innings. He drew a one-out walk in the opening inning in his first plate appearance. Holladay got things going in the sixth with a single, but was left stranded. The score remained tied then at two going into the tenth inning. With one out in the bottom of the tenth, Holladay hit a walk-off to win the ball game.
