Brent Headrick (Illinois State) earned tonight’s pitcher of the night in his solid six innings of work to defeat Kenosha. His only run allowed came unearned in the top of the first when a run scored on a guy who reached from an error. Headrick was able to avoid runs in the third from another error with two strike outs. He then retired the next 11 batters to end his outing with the win, only allowing the one run, on three hits, one walk while striking out 10.
