Chase Kueter (Dubuque) earned Pitcher of the Night after improving to 2-1 in the Rivets’ win over Kalamazoo. The first run of the game came in the opening inning which was unearned due to an error. Kueter didn’t face anymore than four batters until the eighth inning when the next run came home, but that again was unearned. He ended the night with just five hits and two walks while striking out five.
