Amani Godfrey (Saginaw Valley State) threw a complete game shutout for the Bombers and earned pitcher of the night for it. He allowed his first hit of the game with two outs in the second, but left two guys stranded after hitting a batter. Godfrey retired 10 in a row at one point in the game. The biggest threat came when he stranded two in the seventh. He gave up just one more base runner to end his outing at just four hits and walk walk while striking out six.
