Ryan Kutt (Illinois) earned pitcher of the night after throwing seven innings in the Mallards one-hit shutout of the Woodchucks. He allowed his first base runner in the second from a walk with two outs. Kutt retired the next eight batters, allowed a hit, but got the next two to fly out. He got the next eight to go down in-order, ended his night allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out seven.
