Matt Ornelas (Nova Southeastern) earned player of the night after throwing six innings of one-hit ball for the Stingers in their win over Rochester. He retired the first 10 batters of the game. Ornelas only allowed one more base runner for the rest of his outing which came on a dropped third strike. He finished the night allowing just the one hit and one walk while striking out five.
