Trent Palmer (Jacksonville) earned pitcher of the night after throwing six solid inning in the Kingfish win over Rapids. He retired the first 14 batters of the game. Then came two hits, a run, but he got a strike out to end the inning. Palmer took care of the last four including three strike outs. He ended the night with eight strike outs in six innings, allowing just one run on two hits.
