Bismarck Jumps all over Mankato in the Only Game Today

The entire league had off besides Bismarck and Mankato. The Larks battled early, but pulled away in the middle innings and defeated the MoonDogs by eight.


Mankato 4, Bismarck 12

The Bismarck Larks scored early and often as they defeated the Mankato MoonDogs 12-4. Mankato got two in the first half of the first from RJ Teijeiro (UCLA) hitting a single. Tristen Carranza (New Mexico State) knocked in one in the bottom half from a single for Bismarck. The Larks then took the lead with three in the third as Jacob Nesbit (Arkansas) knocked in one of his six from a single. The Dogs got two in the fourth, but the Larks responded for three in the bottom half including a two-run shot by Nesbit. Bismarck got two in the fifth which was capped off by Nesbit delivering again. Nesbit doubled in two in the seventh and then Matthew Warkentin (Xavier) homered in the eighth while two relievers took care of the rest for Bismarck.
