Peyton Sanderlin (Christian Brothers) earned pitcher of the night after throwing a complete game shutout for the Dock Spiders win against Wisconsin. He retired the first eight batters, allowed a single and then shut down the next eight again. Sanderlin got into some trouble in the seventh, but avoided any runs. The ninth was some trouble, but he was able to go the distance without allowing a run on five hits and two walks while striking out three.
