Nic Hernandez (Cal Poly Pomona) earned player of the night after collecting five hits in the Stingers win over Bismarck. He got his first in the opening inning from a single. Hernandez hit another single in the third and one more in the fifth. His double in the sixth drove in a run and then he led off the eighth with a single and scored. He ended his night going 5 for 5 with three RBI and two runs scored.
