Kian O’Brien (Kent State) earned player of the night after winning the game for the Rivets over Rapids. O’Brien got his first hit in the third to lead off the inning and later scored. He doubled in a run in the fourth and singled in the seventh. Then in the bottom of the 12th, he hit a walk-off home run to win the game.
