Matthew Warkentin (Xavier) earned player of the night after driving in nine runs in the Larks big defeat against Willmar. He drove in one in the opening inning on an RBI ground out. Warkentin hit a grand slam in the second and then an RBI single in the third. He bounced into an RBI ground out in the fifth and then hit a two-run shot in the ninth. His night ended going 3 for 6 with two dingers and two runs scored along with the the nine RBI.
