Rockford Rivets Jeff Heinrich (South Carolina) was awarded player of the night after the Rivets defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters in a close game 4-3. Heinrich scored the teams first and only home run of the night during the second inning along with two RBIs. His batting average is currently at a solid .233.
The Rockford Rivets will compete against the Kalamazoo Growlers June 7 at 6:35 pm.
