The Kokomo Jackrabbits started off the night defeating the Traverse City Pit Spitters 6-1. The Jackrabbits had a total of eleven hits and six run during tonights game. Thunder Bay Border Cats got shut out by the Eau Claire Express with an ending score 5-0. Another shut out was by the Bismarck Larks and the Duluth Huskies with a final score 5-0. 

Kenosha Kingfish 12, Kalamazoo Growlers 7

The Kenosha Kingfish and the Kalamazoo Growlers were on fire tonight when the Kingfish stole the win from the Growlers. Kenosha had twelve runs and fourteen hits during tonights battle. Nate Thomas (Saint Josephs University) had two RBI along with one double hit. For the Growlers, Zack Gelof (University of Virginia) and Jimmy Sullivan (University of Virginia) each had one RBI. The winning pitcher was Tanner Fallon (Loras College) for the Kingfish while Ralph Gambino (Pennsylvania State University) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

Bismarck Larks 5, Duluth Huskies 0

The Bismarck Larks blew out the Duluth Huskies during tonights game. The final score was a 5-0. Bismarck hit seven hits along with five runs throughout the game. Larks Jack Chernow (Columbia) had one RBI and hit a double. The winning pitcher was Gavin Rogers (University of West Alabama) pitching eight innings with no runs, two hits, and seven strike outs. Duluth’s losing pitcher was Mason Bryant (Texas). 

Madison Mallards 7, Wisconsin Woodchucks 2

The Madison Mallards crushed the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The ending score was an impressive 7-2. Drew Benefield (Louisville) hit one home run, five RBI, and one double. For the Woodchucks, Angel Tiburcio (FIU) had one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Quinn Gudaitis (Illinois Wesleyan University) pitching a strong six innings with six strike outs and two runs. Brody Gibson (Oral Roberts) came in for the save who had no runs and no hits during his three inning time at work. Robert Wegielnik (Fl Southwest State College) was the Woodchucks losing pitcher of the game.

Battle Creek Bombers 2, Rockford Rivets 10

The Rockford Rivets crushed the Battle Creek Bombers with the Rivets taking the lead during the bottom of the seventh scoring six runs. The final score was a strong 10-2. Rockford had a total of ten runs and thirteen hits throughout the game. Matt Higgins (Bellarmine) hit one home run and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Rockford’s Brad Littleton (Lewis) who had six strike outs and two runs. The losing pitcher was Walter Talcott (Earlham College). 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 0, Eau Claire Express 5

The Eau Claire Express shut out the Thunder Bay Border Cats with the Express taking control right off the bat scoring all five runs in the first three innings. The final score was a blow out 5-0. Express Phillip Sikes (Pima CC) and Vincent Martinez (Stanford) both hit one double and one RBI. The losing pitcher was DJ DePiero (Bradley University (IL)) from the Border Cats. The winning pitcher was Eau Claire’s Nate Davis (Triton) giving up no runs, five strike outs, and four hits pitching a solid eight innings. 

Waterloo Bucks 5, La Crosse Loggers 4

The Waterloo Bucks quickly defeated the La Crosse Loggers with the Bucks taking the lead in the top of the eighth scoring one run. The final score was a close 5-4. Waterloo’s Alex Ronnebaum (Kent State) hit one home run along with three RBI. Ryan Holgate (Arizona) scored one home run and three RBI for the La Crosse Loggers. The winning pitcher was Jimmy Smiley (Columbia) with no runs and two hits. Alec Holcomb (North Dakota State) came in for the save during the last inning for Waterloo. The losing pitcher was Tyler Shingledecker (Penn State) from the Loggers. 

Mankato MoonDogs 1, Rochester Honkers 9

The Rochester Honkers demolished the Mankato MoonDogs with a final score 9-1. Rochester bridged the gap between the MoonDogs during the bottom of the fifth inning scoring three runs. Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University), Craig Shepherd (Evansville), and Zack Zalesky (Oregon State University) all hit one home run each for the Honkers. Zalesky also had two RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Ryan Dorney (Saint Martins University) who had no runs and three hits during his time at the pitchers mound. Mankato’s losing pitcher was Nick Schmidt (Missouri State). 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 0, Green Bay Booyah 1

The Green Bay Booyah won against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders in a close game 1-0. Green Bay’s Blaise Maris (Florida Tech) had one RBI. Another great performance was by Andrew Bullock (Western Carolina) hitting two doubles. The winning pitcher was Tommy Miller (Siena University) pitching a strong six innings with no runs and five hits. Chandler Ingram (Montevallo) swooped in for the save during the last inning. Fond du Lac’s Sam Grace (Southern Illinois University) was the games losing pitcher during his five innings of work at the mound. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 2, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters came out the game swinging defeating the Lakeshore Chinooks. The final score was a nail bitting 3-2. Justin Olson (Kentucky) hit one home run and one RBI for Lakeshore. Rafters CJ Willis (LSU) hit one home run and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Wisconsin’s Jimmy Borzone (Dixie State) who had no runs and no hits during his two inning of work. The losing pitcher was Trevor Tietz (Jefferson College). 

Willmar Stingers 1, St. Cloud Rox 8

The St. Cloud Rox demolished the Willmar Stingers with a final score 8-1. The Rox really made an impact and took the win during the bottom of the eighth inning scoring six runs. Both Parker Smejkal (University of Nebraska-Omaha) and Gus Steiger (South Dakota State) had two RBI each during tonights game. The winning pitcher was St. Cloud’s RJ Martinez (Minot State) pitching a strong nine innings giving up seven hits and one run. The losing pitcher was Willmar’s Jack Zigan (Minnesota State-Mankato).

The Kokomo Jackrabbits defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters scoring three runs in the top of the fifth inning. The final score was 6-1. The Jackrabbits had a total of six runs and eleven hits. Austin Elder (CSU-Northridge) had three RBI. For the Spitters, Andrew Morrow received one RBI and one hit. The winning pitcher was Owen Callaghan (IU-Kokomo) who pitched a solid six innings giving up one run, two hits, and seven strike outs. Traverse Cities losing pitcher was Evan Gates (North Carolina AT).
