The Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Kenosha Kingfish in a close battle 3-0. The Pit Spitters had a total of three runs and five hits throughout the game for the win. The Eau Claire Express dominated the Thunder Bay Border Cats with a final score 10-2. The Kalamazoo Growlers crushed the Green Bay Booyah with a final score 17-5. An impressive performance was by Chris Williams (Chipola College) hit two home runs and six RBI. 

Bismarck Larks 3, Mankato MoonDogs 8

The Mankato MoonDogs crushed the Bismarck Larks with a solid seventh inning scoring four runs to capture the win. The final score was 8-3. Larks Matt Warkentin (Xavier) hit one home run and two RBI. MoonDogs Josh Elvir (Angelo State) received one home run, one double, and three RBI. The winning pitcher was Brett Newberg (Austin Peay State) with three runs and four strike outs in his eight innings time at the mound. The losing pitcher was Bismarck’s Drew Mesecher (West Texas AM). 

Rockford Rivets, Madison Mallards 

Tonight’s game in Madison between the Mallards and the Rivets has been suspended in the top of the 9th inning due to weather. This game will be completed tomorrow as part of a doubleheader in Madison starting at 5:35. The regularly scheduled game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game but not before 6:35. The second game will be nine innings.

Lakeshore Chinooks 10, Wisconsin Woodchucks 7

The Lakeshore Chinooks crushed the Wisconsin Woodchucks with a final score 10-7. The Woodchucks dominated the fourth inning scoring five runs over the Chinooks to capture the win. Wisconsin’s Brandon Seltzer (Palm Beach Atlantic) hit one home run and one RBI. Justin Olson (Kentucky) received two home runs and three RBI from the Chinooks. The winning pitcher was Jarod Large (North Iowa Area CC) while Luke Sommerfeld (Clemson) came in for the save for the Chinooks. The losing pitcher was Jose Varela (FIU). 

Waterloo Bucks 13, La Crosse Loggers 10

The Waterloo Bucks defeated the La Crosse Loggers with an ending game score 13-10.  The Bucks rallied to defeat the Loggers in the top of the fifth inning with five runs. Blake Wagenseller (Cal Poly) had one home run, one double, and six RBI for Waterloo. The Loggers Hunter Watson (Texas AM) hit one home run, two doubles, and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Brett Lockwood (Kansas State) and Jimmy Smiley (Columbia) was the saving pitcher of the game for the Bucks. The losing pitcher was Tyler Shingledecker (Penn State). 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 5, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 0

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters shut out the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders with an ending game score 5-0. The Rafters scored one run during the third through the sixth inning bridging the gap between the Spiders farther and farther apart. Osvaldo Tovalin (Azusa Pacific) and Roman Trujillo (New Mexico State) had one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Gareth Stroh (Nebraska) who pitched a strong seventh inning with no runs, six hits, and eight strike outs from Wisconsin. The losing pitcher was Fond du Lac’s Aaron Ball Jr. (Kankakee CC). 

Kenosha Kingfish 0, Traverse City Pit Spitters 3

The Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Kenosha Kingfish with a final score 3-0. The Pit Spitters started off the night with a bang scoring two runs in the bottom of the first to take the lead over Kenosha. Andrew Morrow (Michigan State) hit two RBI and one triple for Traverse City. Another great performance was by Michael Slaten (Benedictine College) who hit one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Andrew Hoffman (Oakland University) who pitched six innings with no runs, one hits, and four strike outs. Joe Pace (University of Michigan) swopped in for the saving pitch in the last inning for the Pit Spitters. The losing pitcher was Ben Stephens (Eastern Illinois University). 

Battle Creek Bombers 3, Kokomo Jackrabbits 9

The Kokomo Jackrabbits defeated the Battle Creek Bombers in a strong ending game score 9-3. The Jackrabbits had nine runs and five hits throughout the game. Bombers John Malcom (Vanderbilt) had one triple and one RBI. Hagan Severance (Belmont) received one RBI and one stolen base for Kokomo. The winning pitcher was Aaron Husson (Central Michigan) who pitched six innings with two runs, two hits, and six strike outs. Jackrabbits Kenny Johnson (CSU Bakersfield) came in for the save during the last three innings. The Bombers Ty Shoaff (Notre Dame College) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

Eau Claire Express 10, Thunder Bay Border Cats 2

The Eau Claire Express dominated the Thunder Bay Border Cats with an ending game score 10-2. The Express had a consistent first and second inning scoring six runs to take the lead and win. Nick Lopez (Illinois-Chicago) hit one home and one RBI for Eau Claire. Brock Burton (Grand Canyon) and Vincent Martinez (Stanford) both had two RBI and one double for the Express. The winning pitcher was Colt Mink (Flagler) with two runs, five hits, and three strike outs during his five innings of work. Eau Claire’s Kuster Kinlecheenie (Mountevallo) swooped in for the save during four inning with no runs, one hits, and two strike outs. The losing pitcher was Peyton Burks (Arkansas at Pine Bluff). 

Kalamazoo Growlers 5, Green Bay Booyah 17

The Kalamazoo Growlers were dominated by the Green Bay Booyah during tonight game. The final score was a strong 17-5. The Booyah scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to steel the lead from the Growlers. Chris Williams (Chipola College) hit two home runs along with six RBI for Green Bay. His teammate Nick Kreutzer (Arkansas Pine Bluff) received one home run and four RBI in the game. The winning pitcher was Jacob Paulishak (Millersville) with one runs and three hits in his two inning of work. The losing pitcher was Kalamazoo’s Drew Shultz (Northwoods University). 

Rochester Honkers 3, St. Cloud Rox 1

The Rochester Honkers beat the St. Cloud Rox with a close battle 3-1 during tonights game. The Honkers started right out of the bat scoring two runs in the top of the second to capture the lead. Rochester’s Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University) hit one double and one RBI. St. Cloud’s Landon Stephens (Miami-Ohio) and Jack Kelly (Northwestern University) both received doubles. The winning pitcher was Marty Tolson Jr. (Maryland-Eastern Shore) with one run and seven strike outs during his seven inning of work. Honkers Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) came in for the save for the last inning of the game. Rox Trae Robertson (Missouri) was the losing pitcher. 

Duluth Huskies 4, Willmar Stingers 13

The Willmar Stingers dominated over the Duluth Huskies with an impressive 13-4 ending game score. The Stingers had an strong third and fifth inning scoring four runs each to defeat the Huskies during tonights game. Huskies Max Guzman (Faulkner University) had one home run along with three RBI. Willmar’s Branden Boissiere (Arizona) and Chase Stanke (Minnesota) had one home run with Boissiere with three RBI and Stanke had two RBI. The winning pitcher was Polo Portela (Cumberland) who pitched five innings with one run and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Duluth’s Justin Moore (Stanford).
