The St. Cloud Rox and Rochester Honkers started the night off strong with a battle with the Honkers winning the first game of their double header series. The final score was a close 3-2. The La Crosse Loggers shut out and dominated the Waterloo Bucks. The ending game score was a solid 6-0. The Green Bay Booyah demolished the Kalamazoo Growlers with an impressive final game score of 18-8. In the bottom of the sixth inning the Booyah took charge and broadened the lead between Kalamazoo scoring nine runs. 

St. Cloud Rox 2, Rochester Honkers 3 (Game #1) 

The Rochester Honkers pulled through over the St. Cloud Rox with a close win. The final score was 3-2. Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) hit one home run and three RBI for Rochester. Rox Hance Smith (California-Berkeley) had one double and two RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Honkers Landon Anderson (Cal State Fullerton) with two runs and four strike outs during his five innings at the mound. Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) swopped in for the save in the last inning of the game. The losing pitcher was St. Cloud’s RJ Martinez (Minot State). 

St. Cloud Rox 4, Rochester Honkers 3 (Game #2) 

The St. Cloud Rox beat the Rochester Honkers in a close battle splitting tonights doubleheader evenly between the two teams. The final score was 4-3. Honkers Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University) and Logan Denholm (University of California-Davis) both received home runs along with two RBI. St. Cloud’s Hance Smith (California-Berkeley) and Landon Stephens (Miami-OH) had one home run each. Smith also hit three RBI while Stephens had one. The winning pitcher was Rox Alex Carillo (Faulkner University) who pitched three runs and four strike outs during his five innings of work. Blake Stelzer (Concordia University- St. Paul) came in for the saving pitch during the last two innings letting no run or hits past. The losing pitcher was Rochester’s Evan Layne (Lake Erie College). 

Rockford Rivets 11, Madison Mallards 8 (Game #1) 

The Rockford Rivets crushed the Madison Mallards in game 1 of 2 in the teams double header. The final score was 11-8. The Rivets came out of the gates swinging scoring five runs in the first inning. Branden Comia (Illinois) received one home along with five RBI for Rockford. Mallards Austin Blazevic (Southeastern Missouri) hit one home run and two RBI during the game. The winning pitcher was Trevin Eubanks (Valdosta State) who pitched two innings giving up no runs, no hits, and two strike outs. The losing pitcher was Madison’s John Sakowski (Creighton University). 

Rockford Rivets 2, Madison Mallards 5 (Game #2) 

The Madison Mallards rallied for the win over the Rivets in game 2 of the night. The final score was a closer 5-2. The Mallards had a strong sixth inning scoring three runs to capture the lead and win against the Rivets. Nick Gile (Madison College) had two RBI for Madison and his teammate E.J. Ranel (Lenior-Rhyne) hit one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Paul Bergstrom (Creighton University) with two innings of working giving up no runs and one hit. The losing pitcher was Rockford’s Sultan Solebo (Lewis). 

Lakeshore Chinooks 12, Wisconsin Woodchucks 6

The Lakeshore Chinooks dominated the Wisconsin Woodchucks 12-6 during tonights game. The Chinooks began the game scoring six runs in the top of the fourth to capture the lead and win over the Woodchucks. Cole Barr (Indiana) hit one home run along with two RBI for Lakeshore. Wisconsin’s Adam Frank (FDU) had one home run and two RBI as well tonight. The Chinooks winning pitcher was Tony Grabowske (Stephen F. Austin) with one run and four hits during his two inning of work. James Hulbert (Richmond) was the saving pitcher of the game and Nolan Lebamoff (Kankakee Community College) was the losing pitcher for Wisconsin. 

Bismarck Larks 8, Mankato MoonDogs 4

The Bismarck Larks came out on top over the Mankato MoonDogs with an ending game score 8-4. Bismarck’s Matt Warkentin (Xavier) hit two home runs along with four RBI. Dayton Dooney (Arizona) and Sean Ross (Pensacola) both had doubles for the MoonDogs. The winning pitcher was Bradley Collins (UMass Amherst) who pitched a strong six innings with one run, seven hits, and two strike outs for the Larks. The losing pitcher was Mankato’s Josh Ramirez (Washburn). 

Waterloo Bucks 0, La Crosse Loggers 6

The La Crosse Loggers shut out the Waterloo Bucks with a ending game score 6-0. The Loggers closed their win with a strong seventh inning scoring two runs. JT Schwartz (UCLA) and Trey Harris (Arkansas) both had two RBI for La Crosse in the game. The winning pitcher was Nick Eaton (Butler) giving up no runs, four hits, and six strike outs during his six innings of work. The losing pitcher was Bucks Luke Mattson (UC-San Diego) who pitched four innings. 

Duluth Huskies 6, Willmar Stingers 5

The Duluth Huskies won against the Willmar Stingers with a close final score 6-5. The Stingers rallied to try to catch up to the Huskies in the one extra inning but it was not enough to pull through and capture the game win. Stingers Justin King (Alabama) hit one double along with one RBI. Huskies Nic Kent (Virginia) received one double during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Duluth’s Dan Hansen (St. Scholastica) who pitched three innings with two runs, one hit, and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Willmar’s Aldo Fernandez (New Mexico State). 

Kalamazoo Growlers 8, Green Bay Booyah 18

The Green Bay Booyah demolished the Kalamazoo Growlers with ending game score 18-8. The Booyah crushed the bottom of the sixth inning scoring nine runs to capture the win over the Growlers. Joe Mason (Mount Olive) and Jacob Buchberger (Davenport) hit one home run each. Buchberger also had five RBI and one double for Green Bay. Growlers Zack Gelof (UVA), Clay Owens (USC), and Jake Topolski (Duke University) received one home run and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Chandler Ingram (Montevallo) who pitched two innings with no runs, no hits, and one strike outs. The losing pitcher was David Toth (Hillsdale College) for Kalamazoo. 

Kenosha Kingfish 7, Traverse City Pit Spitters 5

The Kenosha Kingfish defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters finishing the Pit Spitters 17 straight winning streak this season. The final score was 7-5. The Kingfish had an epic fourth inning scoring six runs to gain the lead over the Pit Spitters.  Kingfish Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) hit one home run and two RBI for the night. Traverse Cities Michael Slaten (Benedictine College) scored a home run and one RBI. Kenosha’s winning pitcher was Harry Orth (Wisconsin-Oshkosh) with one run and four strike outs. Nate Seprosky (University of Rhode Island) came in for the save while Pit Spitters Chad Patrick (Purdue Northwest) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

Battle Creek Bombers 2, Kokomo Jackrabbits 4

The Kokomo Jackrabbits beat the Battle Creek Bombers 4-2 during tonights game. The Jackrabbits had four runs and five hits total. Battle Creek’s John Malcom (Vanderbilt) and Michael Morrissette (Miami (OH)) both had one RBI. Josephs Myers (UC Davis) hit one double for Kokomo. The winning pitcher was Bayden Root (Ohio State) who pitched five innings with one run, three hits, and seven strike outs. Joey Haass (Delaware) swooped in for the saving pitch while Jordan Rhodes (McDaniel) was the losing pitcher from Battle Creek. 

Eau Claire Express 9, Thunder Bay Border Cats 7

The Eau Claire Express won against the Thunder Bay Border Cats with a final score of 9-7. The Express’ hit nine runs and twelve hits throughout tonights game. Eau Claire’s Connor Laspina (Flagler) and David LaManna (Notre Dame) both hit doubles. Thunder Bay’s Thomas Grilli (Panola College (TX)) received one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Eau Claire’s Brannon Jordan (Cowley CC) and Nick Herold (Winona) swooped in for the save. The losing pitcher was Aaron Kern (Minot State University (ND)) for the Border Cats. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 18, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders dominated the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with an impressive final score 18-4. The Spiders had a strong top of the second inning scoring seven runs to capture the lead and never let the Rafters catch up. Tim Elko (Mississippi) hit two home runs along with five RBI from Fond du Lac. Wisconsin’s Davion Downey (Baylor) had two doubles and one RBI during the game tonight. The winning pitcher was Jon Young (Indiana Wesleyan) giving up no runs, four hits, and three strike outs during his five inning at the mound. The losing pitcher was Rafters Nate Barnes (Mount Mercy).
